Services
America's Appliance Repair provides in-home appliance diagnosis and repair services for residential and commercial customers in Austin, TX and surrounding communities. Services are performed by trained, certified technicians.
We reserve the right to decline service requests at our discretion, including situations where a repair is deemed unsafe, unfeasible, or outside our service area.
Appointments & Scheduling
Appointments may be booked online through our scheduling platform (Workiz) or by calling us at 512-337-3246. We will make reasonable efforts to arrive within the scheduled appointment window. Unforeseen circumstances such as traffic, prior job delays, or emergencies may occasionally affect arrival times.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us as soon as possible. Repeated cancellations without notice may result in a requirement for prepayment before future scheduling.
Diagnostic Fee
A diagnostic fee of $175 + applicable tax applies to all service visits. This fee covers the technician's time to travel to your location, diagnose the appliance, and provide a written repair quote. The diagnostic fee is due at the time of the visit and is non-refundable regardless of whether you proceed with the repair.
Repair Quotes & Authorization
After diagnosis, we will provide you with an upfront quote for the cost of the repair including parts and labor. No repair work will begin without your explicit approval of the quoted price. By approving the quote - verbally, in writing, or by allowing work to proceed - you authorize us to complete the repair at the quoted price.
If additional issues are discovered during the repair that require additional work or parts, we will notify you and obtain approval before proceeding.
Payment
Payment is due upon completion of the repair. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and cash. Invoices not paid at the time of service may be subject to a late fee. We reserve the right to pursue collection of unpaid balances through lawful means.
Warranty
All completed repairs are backed by a 1-year parts and labor warranty from the date of service. If the same issue recurs within 12 months of the original repair, we will return and repair it at no additional charge.
The warranty does not cover:
- New or unrelated failures in the same appliance
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, power surges, floods, or other external factors
- Appliances that have been serviced or tampered with by another party after our repair
- Consumable parts such as filters or light bulbs
Warranty service must be requested by contacting us at 512-337-3246 within the warranty period.
Parts
We use quality OEM and compatible replacement parts sourced from reputable suppliers. In some cases, parts may need to be ordered and a follow-up appointment scheduled. We will communicate any delays as promptly as possible.
Parts that have been installed are non-returnable once a repair is completed.
Access to Property
By scheduling a service appointment, you confirm that you are the property owner or have authority to authorize service at the location. You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the appliance and surrounding area. We reserve the right to decline to perform or continue a repair if conditions are unsafe.
Limitation of Liability
America's Appliance Repair is not liable for pre-existing conditions, latent defects, or damage to an appliance that was present prior to our service. Our total liability for any claim related to a service visit is limited to the amount paid for that specific service.
We are not responsible for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including food spoilage, loss of use, or damage to property resulting from an appliance failure before, during, or after a service visit.

Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in Williamson County, Texas.
